| Michael A. Tangora, President, founded Tangora Technologies, Inc. in 1996. Tangora Technologies, Inc. designs, installs and services heating and cooling, including radiant heat, central vacuums, indoor air quality products, structured wiring, security, home management systems, multi-room audio systems, and home theaters. Mr. Tangora is a graduate of Bethlehem Central High School and Hudson Valley Community College. He has 20 years experience in the heating and cooling industry. He has been a presenter for EH Expos across the country and has authored many articles in national trade and consumer publications. Michael Tangora has been a finalist for both HANA and CEDIA’s Dealer of the Year and Best Integrated Home Awards and the winner of the Consumer Electronics Association Mark of Excellence Award 2002 and Mark of Excellence Award Classic Home System of the Year 2003. In May 2002, he was the recipient of the Excellence in Small Business award from New York Business Development Center and the SBA. The Capital District Business Review selected Mr. Tangora as one of their “40 under 40” honorees, recognizing him for making a difference in his business and community. He is currently a member of CEA, CEDIA, Kiwanis, the Capital Region Builders’ and Remodelers’ Association, Inc. Michael Tangora serves on the board of directors for the Capital Region Builders’ and Remodelers’ Association, Inc. He, wife, Heather and two children live in Delmar, New York. |
